Ingredients
- 170g unsalted butter, melted & cooled slightly
- 250g caster sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 250g dark chocolate, melted & cooled slightly
- 150g Nutella
- 100g plain flour
- 30g cocoa powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 150g chocolate chips
Method
- Prepare an 8″ x 8″ (20cm x 20cm) tin by lining it with baking paper. Turn on the oven at 170ºC fan.
- In a bowl, add your melted butter and caster sugar and whisk until combined.
- Crack 3 large eggs into your bowl and whisk to soft peaks.
- Add the melted dark chocolate and Nutella and whisk until combined.
- Sieve the plain flour, the cocoa powder, and the salt into the bowl. Fold until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Put the mixture into the baking tin you prepared earlier, and smooth it out. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the edges are cracked and the middle no longer wobbles.
- Refrigerate for 3 hours minimum – this will get the best fudgy texture you could ask for!
