Super Fudgy Nutella Brownies

Ingredients

  • 170g unsalted butter, melted & cooled slightly
  • 250g caster sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 250g dark chocolate, melted & cooled slightly
  • 150g Nutella
  • 100g plain flour
  • 30g cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 150g chocolate chips

Method

  1. Prepare an 8″ x 8″ (20cm x 20cm) tin by lining it with baking paper. Turn on the oven at 170ºC fan.
  2. In a bowl, add your melted butter and caster sugar and whisk until combined.
  3. Crack 3 large eggs into your bowl and whisk to soft peaks.
  4. Add the melted dark chocolate and Nutella and whisk until combined.
  5. Sieve the plain flour, the cocoa powder, and the salt into the bowl. Fold until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Put the mixture into the baking tin you prepared earlier, and smooth it out. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the edges are cracked and the middle no longer wobbles.
  8. Refrigerate for 3 hours minimum – this will get the best fudgy texture you could ask for!
