Thursday 25th June – Cha Chaan Teng, walk along Avenue of Stars

For breakfast, we went to Tak Shing Tea Stall on Wun Sha Street in Tai Hang. Mummy had a scrambled egg sandwich and Felix, Daddy and Josh had a pineapple bun with butter.

Then we went to North Point to catch the ferry to Hung Hom (ferry fares). We walked along the promenade towards Tsim Sha Tsui. After that, we went to the Museum of Modern Art shop inside K11. We loved looking all around the shop with lots of state of the art objects that you could buy there. From MoMA, we went to HKMoA – the Hong Kong Museum of Art. It hadn’t been open long when COVID-19 closed everything down, but we have managed to go a couple of times. It’s free to enter, and has a range of different types of art. Before it reopened this year, it had a lot of exhibitions of historical Chinese art and porcelain, which didn’t change very often. Now several of the rooms showcase a blend of Western and Chinese art.
We were looking forward to eating lunch at Itacho Sushi because it’s one of our favourite restaurants. We went for some ice-cream at INK, which is part of HKMoA. The ice-cream there is lovely, and Felix’s favourite is Passion fruit and Mango. Then, we got the Star Ferry from TST to Central, from which we got the bus 11 home.
